My combined family ‘Retirement / Birthday and Bon Voyage Lunch’ – bunting galore and much jollity!

Having retired at the end of December (last working day Wednesday 18th February 2019), it took me a while to organise a family retirement celebration. So long in fact that it became entwined with my birthday and upcoming departure for 7 weeks in the motorhome in Spain for some ‘Winter Sun’.

We decorated the house with bunting and Husband cooked three enormous chickens to feed 12 people. We were eating chicken for some time afterwards!
